About Me

Mara Mellstrom is an experienced public relations professional and agile strategist experienced in crisis communications & reputation management. She is armed with a decade of front-line experience working both in state and federal government, as well as for presidential, gubernatorial, congressional, and senate campaigns. 

Mara is a veteran campaigner and a dogged political consultant who advises federal, state, and local elected officials, as well as major corporations, businesses, and trade associations. Ms. Mellstrom served as Chief of Staff and Campaign Manager to U.S. Congresswoman Nancy Mace of South Carolina, Policy Advisor to Arizona Governor Doug Ducey, Coalitions Director for Governor Jeb Bush, and aide to U.S. Senator Scott Brown. She currently manages nonprofit and advocacy clients at i360.

Mara is a native New Yorker and Broadway fan. She is based in Phoenix, Arizona where she enjoys exploring the outdoors and public parks with her beloved rescue schnauzer mix, Gunner.  She is an avid reader who maintains her reading list here.
